Blow-in
A stranger or foreigner. Basically anybody whose ancestors have not lived in sight of the parish church for at least ten generations.
This
podcast is an interview style show where each episode will have a
different person(s) with a different interesting story, job, thing
to plug, etc. Depending on how things go I may get people in local
bands, businesses, who knows!
Back in 2014, Chippa and Sarah wandered
into The Black Rose (an Irish Pub) in Boston, MA to meet up with
some friends from out of town. They ended up in the upstairs
of the venue and had a blast listening to the duo playing on
stage. That Duo were Tom and Dave, The Blow-ins, from Dingle,
Ireland.
On this episode, Chippa is honored to
be joined all these years later by 1/2 of The Blow-ins equation,
Tom! They discuss playing music in Ireland, local beer,
streaming Saint Patrick's Day shows due to the Pandemic and many
other things.
